the long awaited post

Okay so the blog is getting no love. Seems like facebook gets more attention these days...

anyways a quick recap since the last post

Audrey was in band as we may have mentioned. She had 2 parades in June before school ended. Quite a long walk for someone with such short legs, but she did a great job in both parades. We are fortunate that Chief Joseph gave her opportunity to be in a band. The band teacher retired so it is up in the air if there will be a band next year.

For Memorial Day Weekend activity we took a family day trip out to the Bonneville Dam

Sarah and i were a bit skeptical on how it would go, but kids had a great time and we will definitely try some more family day trips like this.

School has been out 2 or 3 weeks now. The big events have been my dragonboat racing.
We had the Rose Festival races where our team Sync or Swim made the finals but finished (4th of 4). Last weekend (Fathers Day weekend) we were off to Vancouver, BC to compete in 2nd largest races in the world (largest being in Hong Kong). We finished 1st of 8 boats in the rec A consolation final. It was exciting to finish 1st by 3/10th of a second. Of course I was racing and not taking pictures but there are some links in my facebook account.

Also I convinced Sarah to join the summer tennis league (World Team tennis) with me. So far our team is 3-0 and things are looking good...

That's probably enough for now coming up this summer
- 1st tent camping with both kids (and the whole MacMillan clan)
- California road trip
-girls scout camping trip (2 nights away for Audrey)
-bible study camp for Audrey
-summer camp for Jack (1 week )
- 2 more dragonboat races (1 in July , 1 in September)

I will try and update...

Rob
